The NRF Loss Prevention Conference & EXPO is an annual event for retail professionals specializing in loss prevention, asset protection and risk management. It takes place over 2 ½ days in June and consists of educational sessions, an EXPO Hall with more than 200 traders, a Fusion Center where law enforcement agencies can interact with retail attendees. Attendees include all levels of retailers, law enforcement, mall security professionals and traders. The event attracts more than 2,400 loss prevention professionals and is held in a different location each year. This Conference & EXPO is one of the events in NRF’s educational program. The National Retail Federation is the world's largest retail trade association, with members including department store, specialty, discount, catalog, Internet, and independent retailers, chain restaurants, and grocery stores. ==Specialty Events== Women in Loss Prevention Caucus The Women in Loss Prevention Caucus is a forum that has been held at the LP Conference since 2008, and is open to female professionals in the loss prevention division of retail companies. Diversity in Loss Prevention Reception The Diversity in Loss Prevention Reception is hosted jointly by NRF and the International Organization for Black Security Executives.
